OUR STORY?

Patrick Speaking - Churches_Staffs_Org.JPG

From childhood to adulthood, Patrick Norris struggled with panic attacks while leading growing organizations. After bouncing from therapist to therapist, he was trained and certified as an addiction professional, gaining expertise in trauma reprocessing, and learning the neuro-sequences that drive emotions to behaviors. Having experienced personal wholeness, he founded Red Ink Revival to help leaders make sense of their stories – to collect the dots, connect the dots, and correct the dots. The name Red Ink Revival means to go RED for a leader’s redemption, to INK-in a rewrite of a leader’s neuro-identity, and to bring REVIVAL to a leader’s life, love, and legacy.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

Red Ink Revival affirms the historic Nicene Creed as our primary statement of faith. All orthodox streams of Christianity affirm this

creed, which dates back to the 4th century. It is more than an intellectual checklist of doctrines. It is a confession of worship that forms us as the people of God and draws us together into the life of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him, all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit, he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son](1). With the Father and the Son, he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic (2) and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

(1) – Early versions of the Nicene Creed do not contain the phrase “and the Son.”

(2) – Or “universal.”
