MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS, AND DISCLAIMERS 

For over four decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of emotional health, leadership development, and spiritual formation—serving as a senior pastor, Bible college instructor, and keynote speaker across churches, conferences, and leadership environments.

I received formal training and certification in sexual addiction recovery through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), including advanced-level training within clinical frameworks alongside licensed practitioners (psychologists and therapists). This training provided both academic grounding and applied experience in:

Emotional & Behavioral Regulation

• Emotional and distress regulation
• Mapping desire, arousal, cravings, and motivational systems
• Emotional Intelligence in life, marriage, and professional settings

Recovery & Relational Healing

• Pornography and sexual behavior recovery
• Care and healing for betrayed partners

• Family-of-origin dynamics
• Early childhood attachment and development
• Trauma recovery

Today, my work centers on high-level therapeutic coaching, helping individuals navigate complex internal and relational dynamics with clarity, stability, and forward movement.

My clients include pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders (and their families), as well as entrepreneurs, professional and collegiate athletes, artists, and other high-capacity individuals responsible for leading others.

I specialize in translating neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and biblical frameworks into practical, lived transformation—particularly in areas where individuals feel stuck, reactive, or internally divided.

While I completed formal training and certification through IITAP, I have chosen not to maintain an active certification status as I continue to build my practice independently, drawing from the training, resources, and professional relationships developed during that time.
